Our Services

Therapy is always play-based, child-led and focused on how your child learns best!

  • Is your child in the Birth-3 age range and having difficulties with communication? Are you struggling to get off long waitlists and receive services for your young one?

We are happy to serve your family by providing early speech and language services to your child. Being that the parent coaching model is strongly encouraged for children in the birth-3 age range, parents are strongly encouraged to join in on the fun!

  • Is your child stuttering? We can provide functional fluency strategies and supports for you and your child.

  • Articulation - Is your child having trouble saying certain sounds? Your child may be having difficulty with correct placement for that particular sound.

Phonology - Do you find it difficult to understand your child whenever they speak? Your child may have difficulties with patterns of sounds, such as cutting off the last sound in words.

We are trained experts in treating articulation and phonological impairments to increase your child’s ability to verbally communicate his/her wants and needs.

  • Receptive Language - Is your child having difficulty answering simple questions, understanding basic concepts, or following directions? Your child may benefit from services to help them better understand language used across settings.

Expressive Language - Is your child having difficulty communicating their wants/needs, using complete sentences, or telling you about their school day? Your child may need targeted intervention to help them expand their communication skills.

  • Are you looking for more options for your child to effectively communicate their wants and needs? AAC may be what you are looking for!

AAC is a mode of communication ranging from low-tech options (i.e. communication boards ) to high-tech options (i.e. speech-generating devices such as iPads).

In order to provide your child with an appropriate communication system, an SLP can conduct an evaluation in a natural and play-based environment to make clinical observations, explore different AAC options, and gather caregiver and/or other stakeholders input.

Once an evaluation is completed, the SLP can select AAC options to trial over the span of several weeks before assisting with the AAC funding process, if warranted.
